Termite Treatment Palm Beach | Termite Control | Island Environmental

South Florida is home to 21 different species of termites – more than anywhere else is the country. Florida’s sub-tropic climate creates the perfect environment for all types of termites: Drywood, Subterranean, and Dampwood. Florida is one of the few places in the world where the two most destructive termite species coexist: The Asian and Formosan subterranean termite.

As a homeowner, you want to protect your investment and you should be aware that one of the biggest threats to your home is termites. Termites are estimated to cause more damage to homes in Florida than all fires and tornados combined. The National Pest Management Association estimates termite damage costs U.S. homeowners $5 billion each year. To make matters worse, most insurance companies do not cover damage from termites.

Inspection: Protect your home from a threat you can't see
Don't wait until the effects are visible. Because termites generally gain access to your home from access points in or near the foundation and because they attack wood from the inside out, early detection requires the skills of a trained termite inspector. We can detect the presence of termite colonies before they have a chance to harm your residence, or even become visible to you. Our trained and experienced technicians will inspect interior and exterior surfaces for termite activity as well as inspect the soil around the foundation to detect subterranean termites.

Treatment solutions that work
Most pest companies offer either a "Termite Bait" or a "Liquid Barrier" treatment. Which is best ? Which is the most effective ? Which treatment will give you the best value for your money ? That depends. South Florida is home to both drywood and subterranean termites. After you have proper identification on which type of termite, we offer many different treatment solutions for both subterranean and drywood termites.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
Don't currently have termites and want to keep it that way? Island Environmental offers both pre- and post-construction termite prevention solutions. In addition to soil treatments, we offer the Sentricon® System. This bait system in environmentally friendly and guaranteed to not only treat existing infestations of subterranean termites, but prevent them from moving in to begin with.

We offer many service plans for all types of termite needs.
